What is Stealth and why is it important to your survival?
The LAND/Shark - StealthBag is really two types of Instant Survival Shelter. While they both provide you with the same life-saving thermal protection, one side (aluminized film) is made to attract visual attention and the other (Dark Camo Pattern) is designed to hide its occupant. Model 2000AB helicopter mounted IR detector, operating in the 8-14 micron wavelength range, three individuals proved undetectable over a 30 minute test period while cloaked inside the StealthBag. Soldier Of Fortune magazine tested the StealthBag using the well regarded Life-Finder hand-held IR detector with similar results, complete masking of the test subjects' IR signature for the duration of a 30 minute test.
